Electro-Alfa International, a Romanian company with over 35 years of experience and one of the leading players in the production of electrical equipment and solutions for energy infrastructure, announces the early closing of the Initial Public Offering for the sale of up to 65,990,507 newly issued shares. The offering represents approximately 35% of the total number of issued shares and will be carried out starting with February 2, 2026 based on the offering prospectus approved by the Financial Supervisory Authority by decision no. 76/28.01.2026.
The public offering was oversubscribed both for the institutional and retail investors, which led to the decision to close early at the end of the trading session of the public offering on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (“BSE”) system on February 6, 2026. The decision was made together with the intermediaries involved in the offering, SSIF Swiss Capital S.A. and UniCredit Bank. As of the date of this press release, the retail tranche is oversubscribed by approximately 5800%, a figure estimated before the closing of the BSE.
“The increased interest in our offer confirms the capital market’s confidence in our business model and in Electro-Alfa International’s development strategy. We are grateful to investors for their interest and see the listing as an important step in consolidating our position on the regional market. It is a successful milestone in the evolution of our company and a unique and landmark moment for the Romanian capital market, Electro-Alfa International being the first company to close the offer early, in the recent history of the Bucharest Stock Exchange”, says George Ciubotaru, Vice President of the Board of Directors. Following the early closing, based on the Prospectus approved by the ASF and published on the company’s website in the section dedicated to investors, the calendar of subsequent operations is as follows: the date on which the allocation of the Offer Shares and the pro rata allocation factor (in relation to the Retail Investors Tranche) and the final number of Offered Shares will be announced: February 9, 2026; Transaction date: February 10, 2026; Settlement date: February 12, 2026.
The funds obtained from the IPO will be used, according to the Prospectus, mainly for: expanding production capacities, investing in technologies and digitalization, developing the product and service portfolio, as well as supporting expansion on international markets.
