Electrica Furnizare is carrying out for Cristal Brad Service, a company in the glass processing market, the turnkey construction project of a photovoltaic power plant, which will have an average annual energy production of 401.70 MWh. The investment will help reduce CO2 emissions by more than 107 tonnes per year and has a direct impact on lowering the total cost of electricity.

The project implemented in Ilfov County involves the installation of photovoltaic panels, each with a power of 530Wp, on two types of roof – terrace and pitched.

“The photovoltaic plant to be installed in Popești-Leordeni, for our partners from Cristal Brad Service, will have a total installed capacity of 349.8 kWp. It is our constant concern to provide turnkey solutions that meet the requirements of our business partners, such as predictability in electricity supply costs, reducing the carbon footprint and increasing energy efficiency. In fact, the Electrica Furnizare team offers customized solutions for all customer segments and types of industry, the benefits being visible immediately after the implementation of the projects,” said Iulian Matei, director of the Electrica Furnizare Key Customers Department.

The project is to be completed in the second half of 2022.

“This is part of the green energy investment plan that Cristal Brad Service is considering in the next period, with the ultimate goal of achieving an installed capacity of 1 MW,” said Constantin Ciobanu, deputy director of Cristal Brad Service.

With an experience of over 120 years in the field of energy, Electrica Furnizare entered, in 2020, the market for the production of electricity from renewable sources, by purchasing the Stănești Photovoltaic Park, in Giurgiu County, with a capacity of 7.5 MWp . Currently, the company is implementing a series of projects involving the delivery of customized, turnkey solutions for green energy production, thus aligning with the Electrica Group’s strategy to contribute to the sustainable development of business, in the context of the European Green Deal.
