E.ON Romania launches the national competition “Green School”, which aims to contribute to the education of high school children in the spirit of respect for nature.

Thus, any middle school in Romania can register for the competition that will take place online, between October 22 and November 22. Projects are targeting ways in which children can value their knowledge about environmental protection but also their creativity in using recyclable materials for various activities.

“Sustainability is a priority direction for E.ON and that is why we are committed to initiating projects that will contribute to a greener future. In this approach we rely a lot on children: they are intelligent and creative and they will certainly know, with our help, teachers and parents, what they have to do to live in a clean and healthy environment,” says Claudia Griech, deputy general manager, E.ON Energie Romania.

Together with a coordinating teacher, the teams entered in the competition can choose the most diverse forms of expressing concern for nature, through models, experiments, courses, plays, clothing creations from recyclable products.

E.ON will award prizes worth 9,000 euro and 3 laptops, and the winning schools will be designated by the public.
