The storms that affected large areas of the Moldovan region last week caused power outages to about 18,000 consumers. Through a sustained effort of colleagues in the field, teams of contractors and dispatchers Delgaz Grid restored energy supply in over 40 localities.

”We continue to work for the reconnecting of about 1,000 customers from 9 localities in Iasi, Vaslui, Bacău, Neamț and Suceava counties. The unfavorable weather also caused a triple number of individual and collective disturbances in the low voltage networks that directly feed household consumers, compared to an ordinary day. We continue to intervene to repair the damage in all electrical networks as a result of breaking the conductors or poles, by falling trees over the overhead power lines or replacing the insulation elements and transformers struck by lightning,” said company officials.

“Because in some areas the conductors are broken and there is a risk of reaching the surface of the ground, we draw attention to the danger of electric shock and burns posed by their touch in the event of people entering their vicinity.”
