The Adrem Group estimates, for 2023, a turnover of over 250 million lei, after approximately 208 million lei, in 2022, said Corneliu Bodea, Adrem CEO, according to Financialintelligence.ro.

Adrem’s business was up from 192 million lei in 2020 and 196 million lei in 2021, and the profit was aligned with the increase in turnover. Corneliu Bodea said: “Next year we have very good prospects. This year was very difficult for those who worked in the energy sector.”

He noted that the group attended a very large number of tenders, for which the answer is likely to come by the end of the year. Bodea estimates that projects worth over 80 million lei will be signed by the beginning of 2023.

This month, the Adrem entrepreneurial group celebrates 30 years of activity and impact in the energy industry.

In the opinion of Corneliu Bodea, the energy infrastructure is influenced the most by ANRE regulations, not by legislation: “One of the problems of the regulation is that it limited the volume of investments in energy infrastructure to 10%. We first need to build electrical stations, lines.” He stressed that, in Romania, the energy infrastructure is outdated and designed for other purposes (for the industrial developments around the cities in the communist regime).

The Adrem company was founded in 1992 by Adrian Bodea, who set out on the road with the dream of modernizing the Romanian industry, after which his brother, Corneliu Bodea, who today is the CEO of the Adrem group, joined in.

“I’m glad that after 30 years, I can say that I fulfilled my dream. We have brought innovations to the market, contributed to the development of our economy and society, and contributed to the modernization of the metallurgical and energy system in the countries where we operate. We are proud, excited and at the same time grateful for everything we have done so far with care and respect for the environment and communities. I hope that in the next 30 years, through everyone’s involvement, we will witness a sustainable industry, a cleaner environment, a greener future and a flourishing planet that we can leave as a legacy to our children,” said Adrian Bodea, the founder of Adrem.
