CONPET adheres to the National Anticorruption Strategy 2016–2020

CONPET announced its adherence to the National Anticorruption Strategy 2016 – 2020, which brings in tougher rules within the company.

”Following the Government Decree no. 583/ 2016 having approved the National Anticorruption Strategy for the period 2016 – 2020 (N.A.S.), the company CONPET S.A. Ploiești drew up the Statement for the accesion to the National Anti-corruption Strategy for the period 2016 – 2020 and commitment to fundamental values, principles, objectives and mechanism for the monitoring of the N.A.S., supporting the anti-corruption efforts and promoting integrity, priority of the public and company interest, as well as transparency in the decision-making process,” shows a release sent to the BSE.

Therefore, CONPET S.A. management and employees are bound to declare any personal interest that may come into contradiction with the objective pursuit of the work duties.

Moreover, they are bound to take all necessary measures as to avoid the occurrence of conflict of interest and incompatibility situations, not to use their job duties for the purpose of obtaining patrimonial and non-patrimonial undue benefits, for them, their families or persons closely associated to them.

In this respect, CONPET S.A. management firmly commits to support and promote the compliance with the anti-corruption legal framework by all corresponding legal and administrative means, says the release.
