The Oltenia Energy Complex is in negotiations with the companies with which it will partner for the construction of photovoltaic parks and a gas group, writes Energy Center. According to the publication, the director of CE Oltenia Daniel Burlan announced that “for the eight photovoltaic parks we had three bidders, two won, and for the Turceni power plant we had one bidder”.

At this moment, CE Oltenia is negotiating with the winning companies. “We hope to have a deed of incorporation for these SpV-type companies as soon as possible,” Burlan said. According to him, Tinmar Energy will be the partner in four photovoltaic projects with a cumulative installed capacity of 286 MW, as well as in the construction of a 475 MW natural gas block at SE Turceni which will replace an existing capacity of 330 MW on lignite . Tinmar Energy currently owns 13 solar parks, with a combined capacity of 7 MWp.

Also, CE Oltenia in association with OMV Petrom will build four photovoltaic parks with a cumulative installed capacity of 455 MW.

For the 850 MW block on natural gas at SE Ișalnița, which will replace blocks 7 and 8, both 330 MW on lignite, there was no offer.

The selection procedure in order to set up a SpV type company, through which this project will be carried out, will be resumed in February. “Now the restructuring plan has been approved, I think there will be offers,” said CE Oltenia CEO, quoted by Energy Center.
