The session for the submission of the financing files within the Program on the installation of photovoltaic systems for isolated households will be extended until January 31, 2020, the Fund Administration for the Environment (AFM) announced on Friday.

The program finances 100% projects submitted by the companies in the account of isolated dwellings, being different than the prosumers’ dedicated program.

Previously, AFM had extended the deadline for submitting funding files under this program until December 13, 2019, according to Agerpres.

“The purpose of the program is to increase energy efficiency, improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by producing electricity from renewable sources at homes located at least 2 km from the national electricity distribution network and by reducing the use conventional fuels,” the source said.
