Enel resumes activity with the public in some stores starting Monday

Some of Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia stores, as well as those of the partners, resumed their activity with the public, starting Monday. In order to prevent the risk of COVID-19 spreading and to protect both customers and communities, as well as employees, work with the public will be carried out under strict access conditions, which require the wearing of protective masks and social distancing, as per the legal provisions into force.

To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, activities with the public will take place in compliance with the safety measures communicated by the competent authorities. In this regard, employees and customers will have to wear protective masks, and the number of customers who have simultaneous access to the stores will be limited, so that the distance can be kept. The waiting areas within the stores will be closed, and the queue tickets allocation system will be suspended for the time being, the access to the store being made in the order of arrival at the location. Depending on the situation, other safety measures could be implemented as well.

”We recommend customers to use disposable gloves as well as their own writing tool. We also ask customers to check their health before coming to the store (respectively body temperature and general health), and in case of symptoms (fever, breathing disorders, cough, sore throat, cold) to give up travel, as people with such symptoms as well as people without a face mask will not have access to stores, being ensured the epidemiological triage according to the legal provisions in force.

As a result of these security measures, the waiting time may increase, and we thank you in advance for your understanding. People over the age of 65 will have priority access in the morning, until 11 am. We ask people who do not belong to this category to avoid this time frame in order not to further increase the waiting time. Consequently, in order to carry out the activities properly and to prevent the risk of spreading the new coronavirus, we recommend that customers come to Enel stores only for those operations that they cannot perform using the alternative communication channels provided by Enel”, the company announced.
