Romgaz shareholders rejected the performance indicators proposed for the period 2018-2022. At the same time, the quorum vote of May 15 was a rejection for “the variable annual component of the remuneration of the members of the Board of Directors in the amount of 12 monthly fixed indemnities.”

At the same time, Ramona Ungur, a former asset restructuring banker at BCR during 2013-2018, and a former representative of the board of Electrica and Oil Terminal, became the new president of Romgaz, after Liviu Nistoran – a businessman known mostly for his IT expertise, gave up his mandate.

Romgaz announced a net profit increase of 16.26% or 75.8 million lei, up to 542 million lei, for the first quarter of the year. Turnover increased by 15.5% to 1.7 billion lei.
