E.ON Romania launches a new campaign “Give Light”, through which it will donate 250,000 kWh to domestic consumers who are their own customers and need help during this period marked in all the plans by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to direct help, E.ON aims to stimulate social involvement and solidarity with E.ON customers in difficulty.

“The mechanism is simple: those who want to help can enter the Facebook page of the ‘Give Light’ campaign. It is enough to send a story to organizers on their acquaintances, who need help during this period. Each story means a contribution of 100 kWh for the nominated person, free of charge. The only condition for benefiting from the donated energy is that the beneficiary must be an E.ON customer, for gas or electricity. The donated quantities will be subsequently deducted from the invoices of each beneficiary.

The names and contact details of the nominated persons will not be made public,” the company says. The seventh edition of the “Give Light” campaign runs from April 1 to 20, 2020.
