Transgaz and Transelectrica sign memos with Vietnamese companies

Transgaz and Transelectrica signed memorandums of understanding with companies of their kind in Vietnam, during the visit to this country of the Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos, the energy sector enjoying a special attention in talks with the Vietnamese officials, according zf.ro.

Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos met at Hanoi, with Nguyen Xuan Phuc, his Vietnamese counterpart, the President of R. S. Vietnam, Tran Dai Quang and Nguyen Phu Trọng the Secretary General.

“The visit to Hanoi occasioned the resumption of contacts at the level of prime minister between the two countries after 21 years and the relaunch of the economic and sectorial cooperation with the R.S. Vietnam – a traditional partner of Romania in Asia. During the official meeting, the prime ministers of Romania and Vietnam identified new opportunities for collaboration in economic areas such as energy, industry, agriculture, banking, infrastructure works, IT, science and technology, sustainable development and tourism. A special attention has been accorded to the energy context in which the Romanian companies Transgaz and Transelectrica signed Memorandums of understanding with specialized companies in Vietnam,” reads a press release remitted Government Mediafax.

According to the source, also were signed the cooperation program in education and training for the period 2016-2020, between the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research of Romania and the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and Cooperation Programme, between the Ministry of Culture culture of Romania and the Ministry of culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.
