The Senate adopted the project that supports the valorization of natural gas in industry, announced Cristina Prună, USR MP.

“Good news from the parliament! The bill that stimulates the Romanian chemical and petrochemical industry based on natural gas through tax incentives was adopted with an overwhelming vote in the Senate”, Cristina Prună wrote on her social media page.

“Natural gas must create economic development through its superior valorization. We need to produce fertilizers, medicines, plastics, etc. and reduce our imports and the negative trade balance in this sector. The chemical industry is also a key supplier for the automotive and defense industries”, added Cristina Prună, noting that the vote in the Chamber of Deputies is coming up.
