Although Simtel reported, at a consolidated level, operating revenues of 326.7 million lei in the first nine months of 2025, up 88% compared to the same period in 2024, the consolidated net profit in the first nine months of 2025 was of just 2.7 million lei, marking a decrease of 69% compared to the first nine months of 2024, in the context in which most deliveries and collections are planned for the end of this year.
From these revenues, the consolidated turnover amounted to 322 million lei – an increase of 96% compared to the first nine months of last year.
“The results of the first nine months reflect the intense pace of activity this year and the natural structure of our projects, in which a significant part of deliveries and receipts is scheduled for the last months of the year. Beyond the evolution of financial indicators, an essential element of this period is the new contracts signed from July to date, with a cumulative value of approximately 670 million lei (excluding VAT). They strengthen our commercial position, provide high visibility on revenues and a solid pipeline for the period 2026–2027. Looking towards the end of 2025, we maintain a positive outlook on turnover and anticipate a slight downward adjustment of the operating margin, by 1-2 percentage points, in line with the developments in the sector and the accelerated delivery of large-scale projects. Our objective remains to increase operational efficiency and support the implementation of ongoing projects, in line with the budget planning and strategic priorities of the Group. In 2025, the company continues to implement photovoltaic park projects with various capacities, focusing on large-scale projects, but also maintaining the traditional market of small and medium-sized roof and field projects, where it continues to collaborate with both established partners and new business areas. According to the company, there is a very clear dynamic in the direction of large-scale stand-alone storage projects and projects that involve the hybridization of existing energy production capacities or the direct construction of hybrid projects. Simtel estimates that this trend will continue and even accelerate over the next year
As for its own projects, the company estimates that it will have an installed capacity of 64.4 MWp operational by the end of the year, which will generate over 85 GWh annually. Simtel is currently developing nine photovoltaic parks in various stages of implementation, which, once completed, will total an installed capacity of 153 MWp and an annual production of over 200 GWh.
In parallel, the Company continues to develop its portfolio of energy storage parks. Simtel is currently developing five such projects, which, once completed, will have a total installed capacity of 161 MW and a storage capacity of 322 MWh.
Regarding the electricity and natural gas supply activity carried out through G-Energy Solutions, a company in which Simtel holds a 62% stake, in Q3 2025 the accelerated pace of activity from the first two quarters was maintained. This led to exceeding the turnover estimated by G-Energy Solutions as of September 30, 2025. At the same time, in Q3 2025, the company also made the first deliveries of natural gas to end customers.
From an operational perspective, in October this year, the Group opened a new international subsidiary in Stockholm, Sweden – Simtel Nordics. The decision to establish Simtel Nordics represents an organic move, part of the group’s international growth strategy, and aims to strengthen Simtel’s presence in the Nordic region, covering all countries in the area. Through this expansion, the company aims to transfer the knowledge and technical expertise accumulated in Romania, especially in the field of energy storage projects (BESS) and operation and maintenance services (O&M), to a market extremely receptive to innovative energy efficiency solutions.
Also in October, Simtel was among the top 20 fastest growing companies in Europe in the last decade, according to the “FT Ranking: Europe’s Long-Term Growth Champions” ranking, conducted by the Financial Times and Statista. In total, only six companies from Romania were included in this top, which brings together 300 European organizations that recorded significant annual growth between 2014 and 2024, in an economic context marked by challenges such as the pandemic, energy crises and accelerated digital transformation.
