Last night, Rompetrol faced a complex cyber-attack, KMG International’s Communications and Public Relations Department announced.

“We are in constant contact with the National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) and together we are making every effort to resolve the situation,” the company says.

In order to protect data, Rompetrol has temporarily suspended the operation of the websites and the Fill&Go service for both fleets and individuals. Rompetrol service stations are operating as normal, with customers having the option to pay by cash or bank card.

The operational activity of the Petromidia refinery is not affected, the company said.
