Romgaz continues selling gas to ELCEN and Electrocentrale Galați

Romgaz has concluded four contracts with a total value of 236.957 million RON for natural gas deliveries to Electrocentrale București (ELCEN) and Electrocentrale Galați, shows a report of the national gas producer submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

There were signed two addends with ELCEN. The first, signed on 25th of February, stipulates gas deliveries of 129.274 million RON for the period of 1 to 29 of February. The second act concluded on 29th of February, provides the extension of supply by the end of March, contract that will bring Romgaz 104.272 million RON. The contracts anticipate an advanced payment and invoice of balance due 37 days from the date of issue.

Romgaz signed two contracts for gas delivery in March with Electrocentrale Galați. The first, worth of 1.051 million RON, was signed for the free market for gas, non-household category. The second contract, of 2.359 million RON, is for gas delivery to heating producers.

Addendum with E.ON Energie that amounts to 10% of the net turnover in 2014

The gas producer concluded on 23rd of January also an addendum with E.ON Energie Romania for a contract signed in September 2015. The object of the contract involves the supply of natural gas to non-household free market category for the period of 23 January to 30 September 2016. Romgaz calls prepayment and will apply penalties of 0.1% per day.

The initial contract from September 2015 involved gas deliveries from 1 October 2015 to 30 September 2016 for approximately 735.9 million RON. Since the addendum signed in January 2016 by Romgaz administrators positioned value of supplies to 615.6 million RON, the new estimated value for the entire period of the contract is of 803 million RON.
