Romgaz allocates 3.7 mln. lei for fire prevention device installation

The National Natural Gas Company Romgaz allocates a budget of 3.7 million lei, without VAT, for installation works of fire prevention devices, and in this sense announces the launch of a public tender for which offers can be sent until the 9 February 2023.

According to an announcement published on the Public Procurement Electronic System (SEAP), the object of the tender is the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a gas-fire-smoke detection system at gas compression units, according to Agerpres.

“The present purchase is necessary to exploit the compression units in maximum safety conditions and at the same time to comply with the legislative requirements and the regulations in force, thus it is necessary to replace the existing detection centers with a gas-fire-smoke detection system, generation new, high-performance, suitable for potentially explosive working environment (ATEX),” the announcement states.

The contract will be awarded by open tender, on the basis of the best quality-price ratio, and will be concluded for a period of 12 months.

The national gas producer, Romgaz, obtained a net profit of 2.2 billion lei in the first nine months of 2022, 93% more than in the same period of the previous year.

The group recorded a turnover of 10.8 billion lei, increasing by 209.24% compared to that achieved in the first nine months of 2021.

Consolidated net profit per share (EPS) was 5.81 lei, 93.5% higher than that recorded in the first nine months of 2021.
