Restart Energy completed the construction and installation of a photovoltaic power generation system for Apidava, as part of a 2022 partnership, with an investment value of approximately 180,000 euro.

The 252 kWp project was installed on the roof of the beneficiary’s building in Blaj, Alba county.

560 photovoltaic modules have been installed and, with this system, Apidava will provide 25% of its electricity from renewable sources.

“We are glad that there is this alternative of consuming green energy from sources given by nature at lower costs. We chose Restart Energy because of the many recommendations we received from other beneficiaries and we are very pleased with the whole collaboration. Restart Energy’s offer means for us a reduction in operational costs of around 50,000 euros per year and a reduction in CO2 emissions of 79 tonnes per year.” says Victor Mateș, Apidava SRL Administrator.

“We aim to support more and more companies in their efforts to make their energy consumption more efficient and reduce their carbon footprint. The fact that more and more companies, large and small, are choosing to develop such projects confirms the fact that we are on the right path towards sustainability,” says Armand Domuta, General Manager Restart Energy.

Restart Energy provided the entire energy efficiency project for the beneficiary company, from consulting and custom design to implementation.

Restart Energy’s portfolio of photovoltaic systems currently comprises more than 110 completed projects with a total value of €16.6 million. Total PV energy production is over 23.4 GWh/year and CO2 emissions are reduced by approximately 7384.3 tonnes each year.

In January 2021, Restart Energy signed a partnership with the American fund Interlink Capital Strategies of Washington DC to finance the development of 500 MW of renewable projects in Romania by 2025, in order to supply 100% locally produced green energy to all end customers.

In February 2021, Restart Energy successfully launched the first convertible green bond issue in Romania to be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange with the code REO26.
