OX2 has handed over the 99.2 MW Green Breeze wind farm in Romania to its owner, Nala Renewables. The wind farm is now fully operational and supplying renewable energy to the grid.

Located primarily in the Cuca commune, Galați County, Green Breeze comprises 16 Vestas V162-6.2 MW turbines and has an installed capacity of 99.2 MW. The wind farm will supply renewable electricity to Apple under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA). The project handover marks a significant milestone for OX2, as Green Breeze is the company’s first project in Romania to reach the commercial operation phase. This milestone also coincides with OX2’s five-year anniversary of operations in Romania.

OX2’s portfolio in Romania currently exceeds 1.5 GW, with four projects totaling approximately 600 MW either under construction or set to begin construction. Additional onshore wind, BESS, and solar projects totaling around 1 GW are currently in various stages of development.
