The Federation of Oil and Gas Employers has published a message asking the Government for some derogations from the current legislation so that the fuel production is not affected if the international trade is affected, according to e-nergia.ro.

The document provides for “consideration of the exemption for biofuel mixture of at least 6.5% in diesel and bioethanol at least 8% in gasoline to allow refineries to operate fully and not to reduce production;

Elimination of fuel quality requirements (i.e. without mixing of additives) should be allowed if access to raw materials is prevented; elimination / flexibility of the legal relationship between the gross product and the finished product for the minimum emergency stocks. Accepting the production and sale of gasoline with a lower level of octane to ensure the production without import octane additives.”
