Monsson announced the successful completion of the acquisition of 100% of the shares of a 60 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project located in the municipality of Eskilstuna, Sweden.
“The project is fully licensed and construction is scheduled to start in June 2025. This is why we are here on site to ensure that everything is on track for the start of work,” announced the company’s M&A director, Sebastian Enache.
We aim to deploy over 200 MWh of storage capacity in Sweden soon, laying the foundation for additional investments and partnerships.
“We currently operate 72 MWh of energy storage and have another 348 MWh under construction. With the additional 60 MWh project in Eskilstuna, we aim for a European storage portfolio of over 1,000 MWh, including projects in Germany, Finland, Italy and Croatia,” said Director Monsson.
