Mircea-Toma Modran chosen member of the directorate of Transelectrica

The National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informed the shareholders and investors that based on a selection process, in accordance with the provisions of GEO no. 109/2011 regarding corporate governance of public enterprises with later amendments and completions, the Supervisory Board has appointed on November 23, 2016 Mircea – Toma Modran as member of Directorate, reveals a release sent to BSE.

”On November 29, 2016 Mircea – Toma Modran signed the acceptance declaration for the mandate of Directorate Member of National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA, his nomination taking effect starting with December 1, 2016 in compliance with the mandate acceptance declaration,” reveals the release.

The mandate is granted for the time left from the validity of his predecessor’s mandate, namely until September 16, 2017. Mircea – Toma Modran has graduated the Faculty of Electrical Engineering within the University of Craiova and enters the Transelectrica team with a management experience of over 29 years in such fields as: IT, business strategies, efficiency and restructuring, business continuity and risk management, the developing and operating business systems, formerly providing services for OMV – Petrom SA company from the position of Gas Logistics and Business Unit Director /Business Continuity – Program Manager.

He also coordinates the efficiency and restructuring program of the SC Romaero SA as member of the Board of Directors of this company.
