The emergency certificates will be blue, for the companies that have the activity totally or partially interrupted, and yellow, for the companies that register a cut of the activity with a minimum 25%, according to the methodology published in the Official Monitor.

The Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, mentioned in a statement on Thursday, that Minister Virgil Popescu issued the Order establishing the methodology for requesting and issuing Emergency Situation Certificates (CSU).

Emergency certificates are required and will be issued exclusively electronically, free of charge, through the http://prevenire.gov.ro/ platform.

“We have finalized and published in the Official Gazette the methodology for issuing Emergency Situation Certificates (CSU) for the companies affected by the economic situation generated by the COVID-19 crisis in Romania. I wanted this document to be a simple, transparent process, at reach of those in difficulty right now, so it will be released online, at no cost, to all operators in the sectors most affected by this crisis. We remain next to the needs of the Romanian business environment during this period and we will support, through measures applied, all companies, so that they can overcome the crisis period and continue their activity. The Romanian economy must go ahead,” said Minister Virgil Popescu, according to Agerpres.

The CSU is requested on the basis of a statement of self-responsibility, by which the applicant assumes that all the data provided are complete, real and correct in every detail presented. The model of the declaration can be downloaded from the platform http://prevenire.gov.ro.
