METAL SHOW & TIB 2026, the largest technical trade fair in Romania dedicated to the metalworking industry and industrial technologies, opens its doors tomorrow, 12 May 2026, at Romexpo Bucharest. The event takes place from 12 to 15 May 2026, in Pavilion B2, bringing together more than 170 exhibiting companies, industrial technologies, equipment, live demonstrations and applied solutions for companies interested in modernising their production operations.
The trade fair brings manufacturers, distributors, integrators, technology providers and technical specialists together in one place, offering visitors the opportunity to directly compare solutions for metalworking, automation, measurement and control, internal logistics, production flow optimisation and improved industrial precision.
For companies considering investments in new equipment and technologies, METAL SHOW & TIB 2026 serves as a practical evaluation platform: visitors can see equipment in operation, speak directly with suppliers and identify the right solutions for their own production processes.
A trade fair focused on efficiency, control and industrial investments with real returns
METAL SHOW & TIB 2026 is built around very concrete questions for the industry: how to reduce the cost per part, how to increase production without expanding the team, how to improve quality control and how to choose investments that deliver real returns.
The event offers entrepreneurs, general managers, purchasing directors, department heads, engineers, specialists and technicians the opportunity to step away from their daily operational routine and analyse, in a practical setting, where losses occur in production, which processes can be automated, what can be measured more accurately and which technologies can help reduce bottlenecks in the factory.
Throughout the four days of the trade fair, exhibitors will organise live demonstrations of industrial equipment and technologies. Visitors will be able to directly observe the speed, precision, level of automation and applicability of the solutions presented. At the same time, special offers on industrial equipment will be available for companies preparing modernisation projects, capacity expansions or investments in automating industrial flows.
Live Factory: the manufacturing flow, from raw material to product ready for delivery
One of the central concepts of this year’s edition is Live Factory, which presents how a complete manufacturing flow can be built using technologies available at the trade fair.
The concept follows the full industrial route:
Raw materials → Cutting → Machining, welding, assembly → Measurement and control → Packaging → Internal logistics → Storage and dispatch
This approach enables visitors to better understand how equipment connects within the production process, where losses may occur in an industrial flow and what types of technologies can contribute to higher productivity, reduced downtime and improved quality.
Conferences dedicated to real factory challenges
Between 12 and 14 May, the METAL SHOW & TIB 2026 conferences will bring industry leaders, specialists, technology providers and representatives of professional associations to the stage. Under the “MEET THE SPEAKERS” concept, the sessions will address current production challenges and solutions that can be applied in factories.
Topics will include the shortage of skilled labour, process efficiency, predictive maintenance, automation, increased precision, intralogistics and the optimisation of industrial flows.
The full conference programme is available on the official event website, www.metalshow-tib.ro.
More than 170 exhibiting companies and participants from 14 countries
According to the organisers, METAL SHOW & TIB 2026 brings together more than 170 exhibiting companies, covering an area of over 12,000 square metres, with participants from 14 countries. In addition, 29% of the participating companies are exhibiting at this trade fair for the first time.
The event is dedicated to companies looking to modernise their production, compare technologies, speak directly with suppliers and identify suitable solutions for their own industrial flows.
