The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is organizing an extraordinary meeting on Monday at the request of Russia, following the military attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran.

This special session of the Board of Governors of this UN agency based in Vienna will address “issues related to the military attacks by the United States and Israel against the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran”, according to a statement quoted by News.ro.

Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic regime in Tehran, “one of the worst men in history,” is dead, President Donald Trump announced in a post on Truth Social late Saturday. Hours after the announcement, Iranian state media confirmed the supreme leader’s death on Sunday morning. His daughter, grandson, daughter-in-law and son-in-law were also killed in the attacks.

Iran has launched retaliatory attacks on neighboring Gulf states in response to the US and Israeli attacks, hitting a number of other targets.
