His Excellency will develop on the opportunities and challenges raised by a closer cooperation between Romania and Iran, in the energy sector. Iran is the big newcomer of the year on the global energy market, and traditional relations between the two countries allow a fast resumption of economic relations, particularly in the energy sector, where Romanian expertise can find the proper space to materialize in mutually beneficial projects.

On Sunday, the oil tanker Monte Toledo delivered to Europe the first shipment of Iranian crude oil, from mid-2012, announced Bloomberg. In February from Iran left 29 ships loaded with oil. This third edition of Spring Cocktail will be opened by the Romanian Energy Minister Victor Grigorescu, who will elaborate on the most significant perspectives for the local energy sector in 2016. Over 120 high officials and decision makers in the most active energy companies in Romania will attend Spring Cocktail, an event organized by energynomics.ro with the support of our partners: ALD Automotive, Automobile Bavaria, BCR Pensii, Chivas, Ridgid, SGS România, Sixt New Koppel.

The March 24 event will be a good opportunity for the expats in the energy industry to calibrate their expectations and perspectives with the Romanians who worked abroad. What is common and what surprises the newcomers once they in Romania? What similar experiences and what is totally unique to the Romanian energy industry? What type of events is to be avoided and what are the models worth to be urgently imported to make companies more efficient and Romania a better host for the international experts?
