Gazprom sold 73% more gas to Romania in H1

In the first half of this year (H1), Gazprom exported to Romania an amount of gas more than 55% higher than the previous year, and the total invoice rose by more than 70% compared to the same period last year, reaching 1.36 billion lei, according to NewsEnergy.

The data from the reports of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) show that, in the first half of 2019, Romania imported 13 million MWh of natural gas, at an average price of 104.1 lei / MWh. Comparatively, during the similar period of last year the imports were of 8.34 million MWh, at an average price (for the first 5 months – no) of 94 lei. The invoice of the gases imported mainly from Gazprom has thus risen from 785.6 million lei, to 1.36 billion lei, with 73%.
