Enel offers 20% smaller prices for electricity, via its E-Light product

Enel, the electricity supplier that covers three of the eight areas of reglementation in Romania, comes with news on the offer price for the first electricity supply package especially dedicated to the clients who opt the concurential market before August 31st.

The offer now provides an energy price with 20% smaller. The calculation was based on the comparison between the actual electricity price on the regulated market (excluding regulated distribution and transmission system tariffs) and the E-Light product. The product’s structure is simple and transparent, including a subscription amounting to 0.05 lei / day / consumption place and an electricity price of 0.147 euro / kWh. Items regulated by ANRE and approved through legal act are to be added – tariffs for transport, system and distribution, cogeneration tax, green certificates, excise duty and VAT, the company says.

At the same time, in the same package, Enel includes additional support for clients who need to change the contract holder. In the process of transition to E-Light product, they will benefit from consultancy to make the necessary changes. In order to benefit from the E-Light offer, clients only need to activate the electronic bill option, the company adds.

The offer is valid until August 31, 2016 only to clients with household-type consumption.

Active on the Romanian market since 2005, Enel presents itself as the country’s largest private investor in energy, with operations in power distribution and supply as well as renewable energy production. The company has more than 3,100 employees and provides services to 2.7 million customers in three key areas of the country: Muntenia Sud (including Bucharest), Banat and Dobrogea, accounting for one third of Romania’s electricity distribution market.
