Electrogrup, a company with almost 30 years of experience as a general contractor in energy infrastructure, telecommunications and civil construction projects in Romania, has been appointed EPC for the Peștera II wind farm project in Constanța County, one of the most important renewable energy projects under development at national level, with an installed capacity of 392 MW.

Dobrogea remains the heart of wind energy in Romania, and the Peștera II project is part of the new generation of investments that accelerate the development of onshore wind capacities in this region.
Electrogrup has become one of the most important constructors in Romania, with an extensive portfolio of works including: high-voltage transformer stations, micro-hydropower plants, gas-fired power plants, battery storage systems, solar parks, mobile telephony sites, fiber optic networks, national roads and buildings, works executed both in Romania and in other European countries. The company has all the technical and logistical resources and holds all the necessary licenses and certifications for highly complex works in its fields of activity, with a team of over 1,100 employees, of which over 200 engineers with experience in large-scale projects.
This year alone, Electrogrup will execute works worth approximately 500 million euros, a level of activity that places it among the largest infrastructure contractors in Romania.
