The director of the Investment Development Department of Nuclearelectrica (SNN), Constantin-Alexandru Havriş, was sentenced last week to prison, after being accused by DNA prosecutors of having forged an employment contest within the company. In a request made by NewsEnergy, Nuclearelectrica stated that, following this decision, Alexandru Havriș “will no longer exercise the powers of coordination and management within SNN”.

On October 17, the Bucharest Court granted Havriș two sentences, one for one year and another for six months, then the court ordered the suspension of execution under supervision for a term of 2 years.

According to DNA prosecutors, during August 2018, Havriș would have sent to a person, by e-mail, the topics to be given in support of the written test (five questions and related answers) for the position of economist within the Implementation Department Project U3-U4 Cernavoda CNE – Investment Development Directorate of the National Company Nuclearelectrica S.A.

Subsequently, “Havriş Constantin-Alexandru falsely completed the minutes of examining the candidates, both for the written and oral evidence of the interview, even if at the latter he was not present, having gone on leave,” reveals the DNA indictment.
