The Competition Council analyzes the transaction by which Premier Energy PLC intends to take over Evryo Power S.A. and Felix Distribution Holdings S.R.L..

Following this transaction, Premier Energy PLC will also take over Distribuție Energie Olteania S.A., currently owned by Felix Distribution Holdings S.R.L..

The Premier Energy Group operates in Romania through several companies producing electricity from renewable sources, as well as companies present on the natural gas distribution and electricity and natural gas supply markets, the institution announces.

Evryo Power S.A. provides specialized operational services and ensures the efficient functioning of the distribution platform through various operational, commercial and administrative functions.

Felix Distribution Holdings S.R.L. is a holding company. Distribuție Energie Oltenia S.A. is a company that operates a regulated electricity distribution network in southwestern Romania (covering seven counties – Dolj, Olt, Vâlcea, Mehedinți, Gorj, Argeș and Teleorman).

In accordance with the provisions of the Competition Law (no. 21/1996), this operation must be authorized by the Competition Council, which will assess it in order to establish its compatibility with a normal competitive environment and will issue a decision within the deadlines provided by law.
