The Oltenia Energy Complex rescheduled January-April budget debts in order to pay for carbon credits, according to sources close to the situation. The reschedule was done for four months.

The amount that has been delayed in payment is of about 120 million lei, according to sources quoted by e-nergia.ro, given that the payment obligations were of about 30 million lei per month. Oltenia pledged as guarantees two-boilers for coal and the associated coal mills of Groups 5 and 7 at the Turceni Thermal Power Plant, according to a decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on April 10. The value of the two pledged assets is about 290 million lei. CE Oltenia has no overdue debts.
