Banca Comercială Română (BCR) lists a new bond issue on the Regulated Market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), worth over 1 billion lei. The bonds enter trading under the stock exchange symbol BCR33 and have a maturity of 7 years.
It is BCR’s first bond issue since 2026, the 13th issue listed over time, as well as the largest corporate issue on the Stock Exchange this year.
The private placement for the admission to trading of BCR33 bonds took place between June 11 and 12, 2026, with the offer being closed early in less than 24 hours, with a total subscription of 1,000,200,000 lei, double the minimum amount announced of 500 million lei.
BCR’s corporate bonds, 1667 in number, with a nominal value of 600,000 lei, have a fixed interest rate of 7.77%, payable annually and will reach maturity on June 16, 2033.
The bonds are part of the EMTN (Euro Medium Term Notes) program that allows the company to access international capital markets for financing. The offer was intended exclusively for qualified investors, with 21 subscription orders being placed, of which 64% came from Romanian investors and 36% from international investors.
BCR’s bond issue received a Baa2 rating from Moody’s Ratings. A Baa2 rating for bonds is classified as investment grade (recommended for investment), issuers with this rating being considered stable.
