ANRE sent for settlement, in accordance with GEO 27/2022, an amount of over 7.3 bln. lei

The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has verified and sent for settlement, in accordance with GEO 27/2022, an amount of over 7.3 billion lei, according to a statement.

In accordance with the provisions of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 27/2022, for the period April 2022 – March 2023, a total number of 84 companies submitted 729 applications, of which were approved 211 for household customers and 330 for non-household clients. A number of 10 applications for domestic customers have been declared non-eligible, according to Agerpres.

The amount transmitted to the Ministry of Energy, for non-household customers exceeds 4.498 billion lei, and the one transmitted to the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, for domestic customers, reached of 2.849 billion lei.

”The total amount sent for settlement based on the Government’s Emergency Ordinance no. 27/2022 increased by 604,725,606.47 lei compared to the amount in the press release of 11/24/2022. The difference of 178 applications submitted for settlement represents the applications that are in different stages of analysis, and as the operators upload the data and supporting documents requested by the assigned experts, their verification and determination will be carried out with maximum efficiency,” it is mentioned in ANRE release.

ANRE President, Dumitru Chiriță, states that the authority has completed the computer platform regarding the settlement of the amounts related to the support scheme according to GEO 119/2022, and the operators can load the data and supporting documents in order to verify them with maximum efficiency.
