ANRE amends the rules for the trading of electricity produced by future prosumers

After several rounds of public consultations, the National Energy Regulatory Authority – ANRE operates new modifications regarding the trade of electricity produced by future prosumers.

Thus, ANRE presents a new Project under public consultation, according to investenergy.ro.

According to the note of foundation, the new version provides several changes that will be made regarding the obligations to be fulfilled in the trade of electricity produced in power plants from renewable sources with electricity of up to 27kW, belonging to prosumers.

The main changes provide the following obligations for the suppliers: the write-off by the electricity suppliers of the invoices already issued to the prosumers that are legal entities in the period prior to the entry into force of this order, in which the financial regularization provided in art. 14 paragraph (64) of the Law was done; issuing by the suppliers of electricity bills for the electricity consumed from the electricity networks by prosumers that constitute legal entities as consumers, respectively by the prosumers legal persons for the electricity bills produced from renewable sources and delivered to the electricity networks, during the period provided for in the electricity bills that were wrote-off and the compensation by the electricity suppliers between the invoices issued.
