ABB Romania has inaugurated a new Customer Experience Center in Bucharest, an interactive space designed to bring customers and partners closer to the company’s latest solutions in the fields of electrification, automation, electric drives, and e-mobility. The new center reflects ABB’s strategy to support the transition to more energy-efficient, digital, and sustainable buildings and industries.

Designed as a practical demonstration platform, the center allows visitors to experience solutions for smart buildings, low and medium voltage distribution, digital energy management, and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. From residential and commercial applications to complex industrial systems, the space highlights how ABB technologies work together to reduce energy consumption, operating costs, and carbon footprint.

“This new Experience Center is more than a showroom,” said Mioara Brașoveanu, Executive Director and Vice President of Commercial Electrification, ABB Romania. “Visitors can see how ABB’s innovations in electrification, automation, motion and energy efficiency work together to make buildings smarter, safer and more sustainable.”

The center will host live demonstrations, product presentations, workshops, training sessions, and certification programs, reinforcing its role as a hub for innovation and knowledge exchange. Special attention is given to electric drive solutions, which can generate energy savings of up to 80% and support industries in reducing CO₂ emissions.

Present in Romania since 1992, ABB operates locally through all four of its global divisions – Electrification, Robotics & Discrete Automation, Power Transmission and Process Automation. Globally, ABB is a leader in electrification and automation technologies, with over 140 years of history and approximately 110,000 employees, supporting a more efficient and sustainable future.
