A: Organized by Energynomics, the Energynomics Awards Gala recognizes and rewards success, innovation, and best practices in Romania’s energy sector. The awards are both a showcase and a mirror in which companies and professionals can see themselves and present themselves to partners and the wider public as models, benchmarks, and inspiration.

A: The Energynomics Awards project is largely self-financed and proposed and organized by Wing Media Energy Consulting via Energynomics and its partners, including some of the most important companies active in Romania’s energy industry.

A: The Energynomics Awards are evaluated annually by an independent jury of 10–12 highly respected figures in Romania’s energy industry.

A: The Energynomics Awards have been granted annually since 2013.

A: The 2025 edition includes 12 categories, dedicated to organizations, individuals, and specific projects:

A: All entries will be presented on the Energynomics website before the jury process concludes. Finalists in each category will be mentioned during the Gala, and their projects will be included in the event’s official brochure.
Submitting entries
Q: Who can be nominated?
A: Any organization or individual active in Romania’s energy industry can be nominated.
Q: Who can submit entries?
A: Anyone — an individual, a company, an organization, or a member of the Energynomics team.
Q: What is the reference period for the 2025 edition?
A: Projects completed between November 2024 and October 2025 are eligible. Exceptionally, projects started earlier may be accepted if their relevant results occurred within this period.
Q: Can public institutions, municipalities, or NGOs enter?
A: Yes. The competition is open to all actors contributing to the development of the energy sector.
Q: What is the deadline for submissions?
A: For the 2025 edition, the final deadline for submitting entries is November 7. Submissions open on October 15. This is the full 2025 Energynomics Awards calendar:

- November 17 (EoB): dossiers sent to the jurors
- November 19: final deadline for clarification requests
- November 24–25: jury deliberations

A: Yes. We recommend including relevant illustrative materials. Tick the corresponding option in the entry form.
Q: Is there a participation fee?
A: No. Participation is free and open to any organization — company, NGO, association, or public institution — operating in Romania’s energy sector.
Q: How is the data in the forms handled?
A: Information in the entry dossiers is confidential and accessible only to the jurors. General data about the finalists will be published in the Gala brochure, and winners will be publicly announced on Energynomics.ro.
Evaluation of entries
Q: Who are the jurors?
A: The 2025 jury brings together 12 prestigious energy professionals representing top institutions, organizations, and companies in Romania.
Q: What are the evaluation criteria?
A: The awards aim to promote approaches, ideas, and people that meet the following core principles:
- Success – demonstrable results in the field of activity.
- Impact – a measurable contribution to developing the energy sector or the community.
- Innovation – introducing products, services, or practices that drive the energy transition and competitiveness.
Q: How does the jury process work?
A: The judging takes place in two stages:
- Individual evaluation – each juror reviews the entries based on standardized dossiers.
- Joint deliberation – the Jury meets at the end of November for a ~3-hour session, during which the final vote and winner selection take place.

Q: When will the Energynomics Awards 2025 Gala take place?
A: The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the National Military Circle in Bucharest.
Q: Is there a dress code?
A: Yes – black tie (tuxedo / evening dress) is recommended.
Q: How can I attend the event?
A: Attendance at the Energynomics Awards 2025 Gala is based on invitation or ticket, subject to availability.
