Hidroelectrica launched the Call Center Service on Friday, the company announced.

By accessing this service, household and non-household consumers can receive information and assistance on the services contracted with Hidroelectrica, can send indices related to electricity consumption and can find out details on how to become customers of the company.

Starting Monday, October 26, the service will be available 12 hours a day, between 08 AM – 08 PM, on weekdays.

“We want a closer relationship with the household consumer in the perspective of total liberalization of the energy market starting with 2021. Hidroelectrica offers not only fair and competitive prices, but also the guarantee that the energy delivered is 100% green, and that it is produced in Romania, using national resources. The inauguration of the Call Center service shows our determination to enter this extremely demanding market and that Hidroelectrica also recovers quickly in terms of support services offered to customers. The company already has a modern website, communicates on social networks and, today, it can be called by phone to obtain all the necessary information. We will not stop here, but we intend to add and improve all those mandatory services so that a company of the size and importance of Hidroelectrica becomes in a very short time a ‘customer oriented’ in the full meanings of this phrase,” said Bogdan Badea, president of Hidroelectrica.

Hidroelectrica is the largest producer of green energy in Romania, the company having in operation a number of 209 hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity totaling 6,482 MW. Along with the objectives of hydroelectric power generation, the company intends to diversify its business in the coming years through massive investments in onshore and offshore wind farms, photovoltaic parks, biomass-based electricity production, hydrogen production by hydrolysis, development of e-mobility networks.
