Cîţu: An amount of 10.77 billion lei has been allocated, in addition, to support jobs

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection received 3.57 billion lei more than the initial budget, and the Unemployment Insurance Budget 7.2 billion lei, so an additional 10.77 billion lei was allocated in 2020, to support jobs, says the Minister of Finance, Florin Cîţu.

Cîţu also pointed out that an additional 5.91 billion lei was allocated for investments.

“After 7 months, public investments are already at a record level, of 20 billion lei. The largest amount invested in the economy in the last 10 years, in the same period of the year. And we are in a period of unprecedented economic crisis, but only through investments can we to avoid the collapse of the economy and ensure that we will have a strong recovery in 2021. In addition to this budget rectification alone we have increased the guarantee ceiling by 14 billion lei: the increase of the IMMInvest Program ceiling by 5 billion, from 15 billion lei to 20 billion lei – the most successful program for SMEs ever implemented in Romania. HORECA is on the 2nd place in Bucharest and on the 4th place at national level in terms of applications for this program, especially restaurants,” claims the Minister of Finance , according to Agerpres.
