Zoltan Nagy-Bege, vice-president of the National Regulatory Authority pointed out that Parliament completely ignored ANRE signals for four months that the national legislation does not correspond to the European one, so the regulator wants to include these liberalization calendars in the secondary legislation.

“With the investments we have made in renewables, we will reach the targets for 2020, but the big question mark is what awaits us next. The National Energy and Climate Change Plan has to be negotiated until December. But for two months we have no more minister with whom to have constructive discussions and neither Parliament responds to the signals we give in July.

Two things happened in July: the reasoned opinion from the European Commission on natural gas and the publication in the Official Journal of the EU Regulation 943 and Directive 944,” Bege said.

He stressed that ANRE notified the specialized committees in Parliament that amendments to GEO 114 should be adopted as a matter of.
