ANRE: The Romanians suffered power interruptions of seven hours last year

Romanians spent almost seven hours last year without electricity, on average, as a result of power cuts or network works, compared with a maximum of two and a half hours in advanced countries, according to a report by the National Regulatory Authority for Energy, on the performance standard in energy distribution and transport.

Thus, at the national level, interruptions in power supply totaled 407.73 minutes per user last year. Of these, 224 minutes/ user were unplanned interruptions, meaning power cuts, and 183 minutes were interruptions due to planned works.

At the top of the list of distributors with the shortest duration of interruptions is E-Distributie Muntenia, with 184 minutes per user, followed by Dobrogea with 352 minutes, SDEE Muntenia Nord – 353 minutes, SDEE Transilvania Sud – 411 minutes, E-Distributie Banat – 412 minutes, DE Oltenia – 439 minutes, SDEE Transilvania Nord and finally, Delgaz Grid, with 593 minutes, according to Agerpres.
