Under the theme “The State of the Nation’s Energy Supply”, Romania’s Green Momentum 2026 will take a practical look at where the Romanian energy system stands, where it is most exposed and what must be delivered next to strengthen security of supply while continuing the transition towards a more flexible and competitive energy system.
The discussion will move from a diagnosis of available generation, import dependency and system adequacy to the practical barriers still delaying new renewable capacity, the rapid expansion of battery storage, the infrastructure race for grids and connections, and the new market and supply-chain rules affecting project delivery.
