Sirma Caraman, State Secretary in Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration

Sirma Caraman will present for the audience an update on National Energy Efficiency Plan, in the context whenthe private sector is increasingly active in implementing solutions to reduce energy costs and consumption.

Rafael Mărculescu, president “KNX ROMANIA” Association

Graduate of the Faculty of Mechanics at UPB, holder of “KNX Partner” and “KNX Tutor” certificate from the KNX Association International based in Brussels, Professional Diploma in Management from the Open University Business School.

A Buildings Automation aficionado, he delivered dozens of presentations about automation technology for buildings and their benefits, such as safety and energy efficiency. He organized and supported KNX technical courses followed by hundreds of designers, electricians and students. He collaborated with Romania Green Building Council within the course “Design Lighting & Smart Buildings” and in other events as well.

He is one of the initiators of “KNX ROMANIA” Association and the current president of this professional organization.

Elektra Invest is a company specialized onto design and construction electrical installations, connection points and transformer stations, respectively its operation and maintenance, including permanent monitoring through authorized dispatch center.

Energy Managements means managing all process involved elements. An essential component is the absorbed or produced reactive energy. Elena Popescu will provide explanations on the applicable regulations regarding the reactive power, as well as possibilities of project costs reductions (buildings and industrial parks).

Claudiu Butacu, preşedinte EFdeN

EFdeN home is modular and easy to build, and it can be developed both horizontally and vertically, and marketed as a single or as a residential complex.

Claudiu Butacu will present EFdeN proposal for achieving a green and safe residential complex with smart urban planning, a solution designed to solve the problems of mobility and density faced by cities by creating urban development poles.

We will invite over 50 experts from the energy sector, mainly representatives of Romania’s most active companies in the electric mobility sector and representatives of professional associations in the field.

Buildings are the key target for energy efficiency in Romania. Here, the total consumption in residential buildings, offices, commercial and other non-residential buildings account for 45% of total energy consumption.

Office buildings and big retail area have already tested initiative and technological innovation with clear results. These well verified examples can become significant benchmarks for further steps in the implementation of the National Energy Efficiency Plan.

Energy Breakfast Club is a meeting of 2 to 3 hours where energy specialists have the opportunity to keep themselves up to date with the latest information and the most influential views on one the hot topics of the moment.

As a host, energynomics.ro will provide – from 09.00 AM – the MC and the coffee, will propose the theme and will launch the invitations for the speakers. They are selected accordingly with their best knowledge of the topic and are responsible for organizing ideas and stimulating intellectual challenges. Presentations will not exceed 20 minutes and are intended to be starting points for a dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives.
