The management of Transelectrica (TEL) proposed to the shareholders, for the General Assembly on 24 April, a distribution of the 2018 profit in which no dividends are included, according to a report sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

On the agenda of the GMS, the approval of the distribution of the profit, after the deduction of the profit tax on December 31, 2018, is in the amount of about 81 million lei, without the provision of dividends, according to financialintelligence.ro.
Transelectrica achieved a 54% increase in operating profit last year compared to 2017, amid a 13% drop in total operational costs (including depreciation), offsetting the 11% drop in operating revenues.

Net profit increased, reaching 89 million lei in 2018, compared to 28 million lei in 2017.
