The National Transport Company of Electric Energy Transelectrica SA announces the completion of the works to achieve coexistence conditions between high voltage overhead power lines (OPL – 400 kV, 220 kV and 110 kV) and the road infrastructure objective of Bd. Nicolae Grigorescu – Splai Dudescu. The overhead power lines belong to both Transelectrica SA and the distribution operator E-Distribuție Muntenia SA.

With a total value of over 4.8 million lei excluding VAT, the works were completed on Friday, March 27, 2020, inside the completion deadline assumed, respectively March 31, 2020.

“Transelectrica treated this work with the utmost seriousness and responsibility and made every effort to complete it as soon as possible. The contractor’s teams activated continuously on site and we thank all those who understood the importance of the works, so that they could be carried out safely and continuously in the electricity supply,” said Cătălin Nițu, Executive GM, President of the Transelectrica Directorate.

Ensuring the coexistence of high voltage lines with the objective of road infrastructure has involved a high degree of complexity, as the 400/220/110 kV Electric Station Bucharest South, in the immediate vicinity of the Bd. Nicolae Grigorescu – Splai Dudescu, has an important role in supplying with electricity the Capital.
