Transelectrica appoints new temporary members in the Supervisory Board

The shareholders of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica appointed Tuesday seven provisional members in the Supervisory Board, starting May 31, with a duration of four months. The seven are: Gheorghe Olteanu, Ion Ciuculete, Liviu Ilaşi, Adrian Mitroi, Alin-Sorin Mitrică, Fănel Mihalcea and Constantin Dumitru.

Transelectrica is the Transmission and System Operator in Romania, which manages, operates, maintains, upgrades and develops the transport network comprising 81 transformer power stations with a capacity of about 38,000 MVA and 8,834.4 km of overhead power lines of 110 / 220 kV, 400 kV and 750 kV, under the management of eight transmission branches, according to News.ro.

The company has about 2,200 employees and is under the authority of the Ministry of Economy. Transelectrica has a stock market capitalization of ROL 1.49 billion.
