The Parliament resumes hearings for vacancies in ANRE

Industry and Services Committee of the Chamber of Deputies and Economic Commission, Industry and Services from the Senate will resume the parliamentary procedure to fill three vacancies in the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE).

Applications for the post of vice-president and two posts as member of the Regulatory Committee shall be submitted by the end of January to the secretariat of the Chamber of Deputies and the hearings would take place until February 20.

Parliamentary Committee which coordinates ANRE has already taken a round of hearings in 2015, but the hearing was closed without a report assessing the candidates within the statutory 10 days, an element that would amount to appoint the successful candidates. It is expected that the favorites in the first round of hearings to resubmit their application, but new applications are expected as well.

In the first round, the following registered as candidates:

  • Rodin Traicu – Deputy, Vice-chairman the Industry and Services Committee
  • Mihai Albulescu – ex-state secretary at the Ministry of Energy
  • Claudiu Florin Roman – Vice-president Alba County Council
  • Teodor Bobiş – Member in ANRE Regulatory Committee
  • Carmen Filipescu –  Member in ANRE Regulatory Committee
  • Virgil Muşatescu – CNR-CME expert, board member at Romania Fund for Energy Efficiency
  • Dumitru Chisăliţă – Board member at Romgaz and Enel Energie
  • Mihai Octavian Râmniceanu – Director at ANRE
  • Valentin Macec – Bureau Coordinator at Transgaz
  • Victorel Florin Rădoi – Director at ANRE
  • Radu Ioan Puşcariu – Deputy Commercial Director at Electrica Furnizare – Transilvania Sud Braşov branch
  • Mitriconf Crum – Inspector at ANRE
  • Florin Urcan – MP, Member in the Public Administration Committee
  • Rareș Ion Popescu – Bureau Chief, energy inspection, Electrica Transilvania Sud
  • Ionel Malenda – Inspector at ANRE
  • Gabriel Adrian Margin – Director at Electrica Serv
