The national gas and electricity transmission system is operating under normal parameters, and Romania is not facing any particular problems at this time, the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business, Niculae Havrileţ, said.

“The assessment made on this occasion revealed that, at this moment, Romania is not facing any particular problems. The natural gas transmission networks and the national gas and electricity transport system, the networks of great importance, are operating in the normal parameters. Yet there is a good mobilization so that operative teams for field interventions have been formed from time to time in case their assistance will be needed. Not least, we have asked the electricity, natural gas and thermal energy companies, in the cold season, to maintain a permanent communication between the intervention teams and the National Energy Dispatcher,” said Havrileţ after meeting the Winter Commandment from the headquarters of the National Energy Dispatcher, according to Agerpres.

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Wednesday, two warnings of Red Code of blizzard, valid from the evening until Thursday morning in eight counties, and other warnings Yellow code and Orange code of snowfall targeting much of the country.
