Simtel was founded in 2000 by Romanian businessmen. The company developed in three different areas, based on a “mix of skills” that distinguishes it from other companies – an engineering staff specialized in the energy, telecommunications and automation sectors, he said Sergiu Bazarciuc, Executive Manager Simtel, during the conference “Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – Cluj- Napoca”, organized by Energynomics.

“Thus, we can handle much better projects where innovative technologies are needed,” he said.

“The company has its headquarters in Bucharest, but soon we will have a branch in the Cluj area too, where we will be able to serve customers in Ardeal more efficiently. Simtel carries out turnkey projects (EPC) of solar energy in particular for the engineering part, the procurement part and the construction part, but preventive and corrective maintenance also. Another area we went on the road in 2005 is communications, where we are integrators for all mobile operators, offering one-stop-shop services, that is, location purchase, authorization, design, implementation, commissioning, testing and maintenance. The youngest area we operate in is industrial automation where we design, implement and maintain industrial automation projects,” Sergiu Bazarciuc claims.

Simtel concluded 2020 with a turnover of 10 million euros, with 250 customers, 45 employees and 25 subcontractors. The company has over 5.000 projects in the telecom sector, 30MW in solar roof installations in the last two to three years, 65 solar parks in maintenance and 120MWp PV projects in the commissioning process. At the same time, Simtel carried out automation projects in 12 countries. “We have installed photovoltaic power plants for self-consumption, including lower costs, more efficient electricity consumption, reduced pollution and energy price predictability.”

Simtel makes turn-key solar projects with all that is necessary, starting from the authorization, approval for network connection, design, logistics, installation, civil and mechanical works, electrical and maintenance.

width=”Since 2012 we have also been ABB service partners for solar inverters. We have in our portfolio a great deal of work carried out with ABB both in Romania and in other countries, such as Chile, Sweden, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Serbia, etc. We work with premium equipment, because we are talking about investments for over 25-30 years. We work with ABB inverters, with panels from the largest manufacturers in Bloomberg Tier I. We work with the structure produced in Germany and with our own innovation – an automation with ABB components for feed-in-zero”.

The conference “Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – Cluj-Napoca” was organized by Energynomics, with the support of our partners ABB, Cargus, Claritech, CREESC, Eaton, Enel X Romania, EnergoBit, Kawasaki Gas Turbines Europe, Photomate, Renovatio, Sensible, Wiren.
