Schneider Electric implements a smart, scalable, digital electricity distribution solution, together with its partner IMSAT Groupe SNEF at the First National Children’s Hospital for Cancer, Serious Illness and Trauma – #NoiFacemUnSpital, built by Dăruiește Viață in the courtyard of the Clinical Emergency Hospital for Children Marie S. Curie.

“The main requirements in terms of electrical installation were related to reliability, safety and scalability,” explains Mihaela Gusa, Health & Hotels Segment Manager Schneider Electric Romania.

“Knowing the importance of the electrical installation in the operation of a hospital building, the high requirements in terms of reliability and the importance of a proactive rather than reactive maintenance activity, our company proposed tested electrical panel solutions, Prisma Plus, in the communicating version. By using the Ecostruxure Facility Expert Logbook application, the electrical panels received QR codes, with the help of which the related technical documentation was delivered in digital format. Also, by using this application, maintenance activities can be organized and tracked, ensuring their traceability.”

Three high-performance UPSs have been added to the electrical panels, which ensure the availability of electricity 24/7, for the safety of patients and medical staff, but also connected medium voltage equipment, equipped with temperature sensors with wireless communication, TH110 .

“All this connected electrical equipment will be integrated into Building Management and energy management solutions that will lead to easy building operation, increased energy and operational efficiency and also an increase in equipment life,” adds Mihaela Gușă.
